Thank you to everyone who supported the 2022 sale. With your support, the Garden House Foundation permanent fund was able to either directly grant ($7200), or cause to be matched ($4800) a total of $12,000 in grants to Cowichan Family Life, Cowichan Women Against Violence and the Duncan and District S.P.C.A.!
The 2023 book sale will take place in October, but the exact dates will not be known until later this spring. Please check back then for details.

Please note we do not accept text books, magazines, Nation Geographic magazines, encyclopedia sets or Readers’ Digest condensed books.
We are accepting most newer soft and hard cover books in good and clean condition, including children’s books. The exception is hard cover novels, which should be published 2015 and newer. This is for storage considerations. That being said, if you have books that you feel may be an exception, please let us know when you call. We also accept CDs,DVDs and jigsaw puzzles.
As always, thank you again for your kindness and generosity! Your donations will raise funds to provide annual grants for families in crisis and animals in need in the Cowichan Valley forever. Your compassion and care will contribute to changing lives. For example, timely counseling services could mean that a traumatized child might not end up with post-traumatic stress disorder (P.T.S.D.)
