Thank you everyone for your support in 2023! As usual, the quality of the books for the 2023 sale was amazing. The book sale along with Seedy Saturday sales raised $15,139!! 😍 As of April 30, 2024, the permanent fund has grown to $214,948!! By the end of December, more than $60,000 in grants will have been given to our three local recipient organizations since the sale began in 2008. We are now taking donations again. Please check out our guidelines before calling us at 250-743-4627 to arrange for drop off. Thank you! 🙂
We accept clean soft and hard cover books, DVDs, CDs, and jigsaw puzzles, all newer and in good condition. We ask that hard cover novels be 2015 or newer. If you have books that you feel should be an exception, please discuss that with us when you call before dropping off your donation.
We do not take encyclopedia sets, catalogues, magazines, National Geographics, text books or Readers’ Digest condensed novels.
For the past couple of years the sale has been held on the last weekend in October. Please check back in the spring when dates for the 2024 sale have been confirmed.
